You did a very good job. You took good care of us, together with the driver you were a good team. Every time friendly, patient and thinking in a positive way. You are well informed of the culture of your country, especially of Sikkim (of course). Telling us what is going on nowadays and about your own life and family was very interesting.

You tried to bring over what Buddhism is and what’s behind it, but it is still too complicate for us to get sufficient insight. We will continue studying. We felt you are a warm believer. You organised good hotels for us, with nice rooms and good views. But we will not forget the Russians.

Thank you very much. We will remember you as a very good guide!!!

North Sikkim Tour:

The trip is fun as we have been shown with the nice northern part of Sikkim. Although it’s not smooth as we expected, we’ve impress by the hospitality of our tour guide and driver. I think this is also impressive part, seeing how they resolve travelling issues and coping with our immediate change/requirement.

For improvement, a couple of things that might be useful:-

- Weather forecast can help ensure that North Sikkim can fully show its beauty.

- The road trip can be extended from 6 to 10/12 hours, depending on the weather. This should be clearly communicated upfront.

Sikkim Cultural and Heritage Tour:

I would like to commend Mr Tamding Bhutia and his company Tsozum Tours for their outstanding service during my visit to Sikkim. He had been personally recommended by Rainbow Tours of Bhutan, a company which has delivered exceptional value during four visits to Bhutan. Mr Tamding certainly lived up to his reputation. He listened carefully to my requests and prepared a wonderful tour covering as much of Sikkim as time would allow. when my arrival plans were altered, he was quick to come up with excellent alternatives, and just quick and effective in changing them as neded or quested as the tour unfolded.

He was a great companion during the tour, always answering questions and giving me much deeper insights into culture and history of his country. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who wanted outstanding servie, flexible scheduling, attention to detail and always watching out for your health, safty and personal interests whether they be culture, history, photography, etc. I will definitely turn to him for my next visit to Sikkim, Nepal or anywhere else in the region. He really gives you the VIP treatment and his undivided attention. Good Show!

Sikkim, Darjeeling & Kalimpong Tour

Our trip was well organized. The driver did a really good job. Drove very slowly and always had a clean car. The guide treated us as real guests and did his best to meet our expectations. Like a coffee –stop in the morning and sights and places to take nice pictures. He also did his best to let us meet the local people and local restaurants. But all safe!!! We made some nice walks in the rural areas.

We didn’t always understand what he told us but the temples and monasteries, maybe because it is all so complicated. And we don’t have much knowledge. The guide could improve his English.

Not all the hotels met our expectations, especially in Darjeeling. We were impressed by the service in Pelling. Please pay more attention to hygiene in bathrooms and hotels. Western standards are quite high!!!
